- Exercise #3 Take Initiative In HOBBIES/SPORTS: Taking initiative in the sports and activities you enjoy is super fun and really rewarding as you’ll actually see yourself improving each day! You can take initiative by practicing every day without waiting for someone to remind you and watching movies or reading books about your favorite hobbies and sports. Another great way to take initiative is by being a team player and motivating everyone around you to stay positive and keep up the great work!
