Your home is designed to keep you safe and comfortable. It is built to be strong and sturdy to protect you from bad weather and anything outside that could be dangerous. We need to live in a home but as you know it takes time and effort to build a great home. In many ways building self confidence is very similar to building a home. Your confidence supports your deepest feelings and protects you from anything hurtful that someone may say to you. The same way a properly built home keeps you comfortable, if you take the time to build up your self confidence, you will feel more comfortable and safe in everything that you do!
Start With The Foundations
There are many layers of materials that are needed to build a strong home but the main three parts that support a home are the roof, walls, and floor. Your self confidence is also made up of three main parts: Body, Mind, and Spirit! But how exactly do you build up these three parts that make up a healthy self confidence? Well the most important thing is loving yourself! Loving your body, personality, and choices you make is the first and biggest step in building your confidence. After all, you can’t build a strong house if you don’t love and respect all the materials that you have without ever comparing what you have to what someone else has.
Another big part of building confidence is realizing that the journey goes on forever and never really ends! Have you ever seen your parents fix things around your home or even make little changes to make your house even nicer? The same thing goes for your self confidence.
